5 Question Friday!

Good morning, friends!!  Once again it’s Friday!  I know you’re all thrilled, because that means a weekend full of no work, and no school!  YAY!!

Well, you all know what Friday means around this joint.  5 question Friday!  Let’s get to the fun.  And as always thanks to Mama M. for letting us link up.

1. What is your favorite fall family tradition?
My family doesn’t have a ton of fall family traditions.  I really enjoy dressing my kiddos up for Halloween.  I mean how cute are they all dressed like princesses or knights or super heroes etc.  However I really enjoy Thanksgiving too.  Every year we see the Hub’s Dad for Thanksgiving.  Either he comes to us or we go to him.  (He lives 11 hours away from us.  Which when kids are riding with you it’s more like 45 hours… hahaha!)  So I guess Thanksgiving takes it, because my FIL is super awesome.  He and I get along like peas in a pod.  ( I know I’m lucky, and your jealous ;).

2. If money weren't an issue, how many kids would you have?

Gosh, really I’d love to say I’d have eleventy billion.  Or at least 4, but really I have to go with 2.  All my life I never saw myself with more than 2 kids.  I admire big families don’t get me wrong.  But I know my own boundaries.  If I had 3 or more I wouldn’t be able to cope.  I know you’re thinking “you could hire a nanny”, but if I’m going to have kids I want to raise them.  I’m not gonna have babies just to have babies.  Plus, post partum kicked (and is still kicking) my butt.  I don’t know if my mental health could take it again.

3. If you were to get a tattoo, what would it be and where would you put it?
Hmmm…. Interesting question.  You see I like tattoos.  They look cool, but I can’t bring myself to get one, talk about commitment!  I have a hard time deciding what to wear to church on a Sunday, let alone what will be on my body for the next FOREVER.  Plus when I’m 90 I don’t want to have to spread my skin out and say, “see that’s what it’s supposed to look like”.  But let’s see since this is hypothetical, I guess I’d go with something like Joy where it reads the same whether it’s right side up or upside down.  And I’d put it on my wrist.  One of my friends has a tattoo like this and it’s AWESOME!

4. What condiment is a must in your house?
Miracle whip.  NOT mayonnaise.  Boy oh boy did I learn that lesson when the Hubs and I were first married.  I bought mayonnaise and couldn’t figure out why he wasn’t using any.  He lovingly explained that miracle whip and mayonnaise are like comparing a porshe with a dodge dart.  No comparison should ever be made.  So from then on miracle whip can be found in our fridge.

5. How did your spouse/fiance propose?
Awww it was amazing, fabulous, perfect (someone stop me because I can go on and on ;).  The Hubs took me to the beach at night (p.s. the beach is one of my favorite places on earth, and he hates the beach.) on Valentines day.  And while we were sitting listening to the ocean he handed me a box of chocolates (does he know me or what?! ;).  When I opened them there was a ring box inside!!  And when I looked up he was on his knee….. Ahhh!  It still makes my heart melt!
Alrighty, I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
