Our garbage can fills up quite quickly. Most of the time the Hubs does the manly job of taking it out. Every once in a while though he is unavailable either because of work or he's gone or something, so the job falls to me. For some reason I don't realize that it needs to be taken out until it's dark outside. Probably because while the sun is up so are my children and they take alot more attention than an inanimate object no matter how full.
Now mind you I'm not afraid of the dark, but our yard has been known to be home to snakes during the night time hours and the side of the house that has the outside cans has no light. Therefore, I'm always afraid that I'm going to step on a snake or scare one and it will bite me or something.
That's the background for the story, now onto the main attraction. Once again the sun had gone down, the Hubs was gone and the trash can was over flowing. So I decided it was time to take it out. I gathered up the trash and got out to the dark side of the house, while I was swinging the bag of garbage into the outside bin something brushed against my leg! I jumped, screamed (because I'm so calm, cool and collected, you know. HAHAHA!) and nearly came out of my skin! When I looked down what was there? A frog. He had decided to push off of me while trying to jump onto a piece of fencing. That silly little frog nearly caused me to have a heart attack!
Needless to say my heart was racing and I was creeped out big time. I wish no ill will towards that harmless froggy. I simply ask that he not touch me while I'm already on edge, because he creeped me out majorly!
And now you all know I'm a wimp that's scared of the dark and snakes. Hahahaha!
Hope you all have a great day!
